Following the approval of the New Health Centre and East Midlands Ambulance Station adjacent, where all existing services are to be transferred into the new building once complete, the Newholme Hospital Site will become surplus to NHS operational requirements.

NHS Property Services have been working with P&DG and Fisher German to prepare a Development Brief which will guide any future redevelopment on site. At the heart of the Development Brief is preservation and enhancement of the historic built environment. NHS Property Services are presenting the Development Brief prior to submitting the document for endorsement by the Peak District National Park Authority to guide any future planning application(s) to redevelop the site.

P&DG would like to receive your feedback on the Development Brief to ensure local needs and desires are met, insofar as possible.
